LUKE 21:29-33
29And he told them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees; 30as soon as they come out in leaf, you see for yourselves and know that the summer is already near. 31So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away till all has taken place. 33Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
Meditations:
All things will pass but not God’s Word. If we hope in His Word in all things, we can pass through all sufferings in this life possible. Do we believe this? Do we listen to His Word and let it sit in our hearts? Do we believe that the sorrows in this life are also passing? Yes, at times they seem to be overwhelming. And those are the times where our faith is most tested. It is easy to believe when all things are going well. But when things are not, then our faith is tested if it is true for the things unseen.
May the Words of God be our surety that beyond our exile in this life, there is an eternal life waiting for us. So that we may face our trials with much courage knowing and believing that God is with us. That He will be with us every step of the way in our life here on earth and even after, there will be our resurrection. Amen. +
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, be with us always until the hour of our death. Amen. +
God bless us and may He help us always to conform to His will. Amen. +
