Dressing For the Mass in the Way that Pleases God

 

REMINDERS BEFORE GOING TO THE HOLY MASS 

Please dress properly.

A brotherly and sisterly reminder: being in the Mass is being in the very presence of our Lord, our King. It is not some any other kind of "party" but a solemn celebration, a  holy sacrament as in baptism, first communion, wedding and ordinations. Let us give glory to God. Show our utmost respect and reverence for Him even in the way we dress. For our bodies are not our own but temples of God. Therefore we must give to God what is due to Him. 

The Holy Mass is a sacrifice. 

The church is the house of God. Therefore, whatever pleases the Divine Master must also be our will. It's a little sacrifice compared to what God has done for us. May He bless us always and may He cleanse and soften our hearts that we may listen to Him always. Amen. Amen.
